Individual Hair piece # 1

I've been working on this piece since December, 2009. I was slowly drawing it, taking my time not to draw less or over draw it. Joshua saw a sketch of it in my sketchbook and encouraged me to transform that sketch into a real big drawing. I wasn't sure whether it will look that gorgeous as Joshua was saying or not - now that I look at it..it is indeed gorgeous! (at least in my opinion).

Wash, fabric collage, image transfer, stencil with spray paint, pencil color.
Fatma screen printed the pillar.
